The Shadow You, by Chinese development studio Whisper Games, is a horror adventure title out now on Steam.
The game sees the player take control of different characters, including Ophelia and Kiel who bumped into each other in a video game and became a couple in real life (the dream), and explores the bright and colourful real world and the dark and mysterious world of Gloom! (Spooky!)
This striking looking game combines both visual novel and adventure-style gameplay, and lets the player explore various locations, collect items, meet interesting and mysterious characters, choose from a range of dialogue options and solve clever puzzles!
Its unique visual style blends together Western and Asian art techniques, and combined with its hauntingly beautiful soundtrack, creates an insanely intriguing and atmospheric world. There’s two realities to explore, each with its own distinct visual style, and three storylines to encounter.
