The Indie Japanese Folklore Thriller, Ikai, Launches This March

PM Studios and Endflame are proud to announce that their indie Japanese folklore thriller, Ikai, launches this March.

Ikai draws inspiration from the classic first-person psychological horror genre with a defenceless main character. You must ward off demons with mystical Kanji as there are no guns or swords to help your cause. Therefore, all threats must be faced directly. However, if you’re quiet, you might be able to just run away from it all.

You play as Naoko, the local priestess, who is left in charge of her uncle’s shrine while he tries to expel the looming evil. But it seems that even he can’t stop the evil from spreading up the mountain and defiling the sacred grounds. Defenceless, Naoko must face the spirits alone.
