The Badges in Super Mario Bros. Wonder add unique experiences that transform the gameplay for players, and there are many to collect.

There are 24 Badges across three categories in the game to collect: Action, Boost, and Expert. Unlocking them is between completing challenges and purchasing from the game’s merchant, Poplin. Below is the way to earn each Badge within Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

All Action Badges in Super Mario Bros. Wonder

Action Badges within the game can be equipped and aid in platforming for players throughout the game. The following are the Action Badges for Super Mario Bros. Wonder:

• Parachute Cap: In midair, press R or shake the controller to open your hat and float slowly downward.
  • Location: Purchase the Parachute Cap Badge from the Poplin House in Pipe-Rock Plateau​​​​​.
• Wall-Climb Jump: Jump against a wall, then press B to jump straight up once.
  • Location: Complete the Wall-Climb Jump I challenge course in Pipe-Rock Plateau​​​​​ (World 1).
• Dolphin Kick: While underwater, press R or shake the controller to unleash a brief burst of speed.
  • Location: Complete the Dolphin Kick I challenge course in the Petal Isles.
• Floating High Jump: Jump higher than usual and momentarily float.
  • Location: Complete the Floating High Jump I challenge course in Fluff-Puff Peaks (World 2).
• Crouching High Jump: Crouch and charge up power to jump higher than usual.
  • Location: Complete the Crouching High Jump I challenge course in Shining Falls (World 3).
• Timed High Jump: Time consecutive jumps just right to jump higher than usual. You’ll even jump high on sand.
  • Location: Purchasable from Poplin Shop in Sunbaked Desert (World 4).
• Fast Dash: Dash a little faster than usual. You’ll walk a little faster, too, even across sandy areas!
  • Location: Purchasable from Poplin Shop in Sunbaked Desert (World 4).
• Grappling Vine: While in midair, press R or shake the controller to launch a vine that can grab a wall.
  • Location: Complete the Grappling Vine I challenge course in Fungi Mines (World 5).
• Boosting Spin Jump: While in midair, press R or shake the controller to gain a little extra altitude.
  • Location: Complete the Boosting Spin Jump I challenge course in the Petal Isles​.

All Boost Badges in Super Mario Bros. Wonder

Boost Badges in Super Mario Bros. Wonder provide different bonuses to items and coins. Below are all of the Boost Badges in the game:

• Coin Reward: Earn coins for defeating enemies.
  • Location: Purchasable from Poplin Shop in Pipe-Rock Plateau​​​​​ (World 1).
• Auto Super Mushroom: Start a course with a Super Mushroom power-up.
  • Location: Complete the Wiggler Race Mountaineering! Course in Pipe-Rock Plateau​​​​​ (World 1).
• Add ! Blocks: Add ! Blocks to courses. The ! Blocks may act as extra platforms, contain items, or serve other purposes.
  • Location: Purchasable from Poplin Shop in Fluff-Puff Peaks (World 2).
• Safety Bounce: Bounce back out of pits, lava, or poison swamps just one time per fall.
  • Location: Purchasable from Poplin Shop in Fluff-Puff Peaks (World 2).
• Rhythm Jump: Earn coins by jumping in time with the beat.
  • Location: Complete the bonus course in Sunbaked Desert (World 4).
• Sensor: Detect significant items nearby, such as Wonder Flowers or 10-flower coins.
  • Location: Give a Flower Coin to the Poplin near the bridge in Fungi Mines (World 5).
• Coin Magnet: Pull in nearby coins and flower coins.
  • Location: Purchasble from the Poplin Shop in Deep Magma Bog (World 6).
• All Elephant Power: Change into Elephant form when you collect any power-up.
  • Location: Purchasable from any Poplin Shop after completing the main story.
• All Fire Power: Change into Fire form when you collect any power-up.
  • Location: Purchasable from any Poplin Shop after completing the main story.
• All Bubble Power: Change into Bubble form when you collect any power-up.

• Jet Run: Dash continuously at incredible speed. If you run off an edge, you’ll also have a short window where you can jump in midair.
  • Location: Complete the Jet Run I challenge course in Pipe-Rock Plateau​​​​​ (World 1).
• Spring Feet: Perpetually hop along. You can also jump higher than usual.
  • Location: Complete the Spring Feet I challenge course in Fluff-Puff Peaks​​​​​ (World 2).
• Invisibility: Disappear from sight, making it impossible for enemies to spot you.
  • Location: Complete the Invisibility I challenge course in Sunbaked Desert​​​​​ (World 4).
• Sound Off?: Hear strange voices…
