Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth: Is There New Game Plus?

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth promises hundreds of hours of content, but if you fancy doing it all over again, then you’ll need New Game Plus. But does the game have it?

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is taking the series to the next level thanks to its seemingly endless amount of side content. It’s enough to keep fans busy for quite some time, but eventually, the truly diehard are going to want to do it all again. Of course, typically, this is when a New Game + mode would come in. These allow players to replay the entire game again while retaining certain aspects of their character, like levels or gear. So, does Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth have a New Game Plus mode? While some fans may be happy with the answer, others may feel that SEGA is taking the Infinite Wealth part of the game a little too seriously.

Does Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Have a New Game Plus Mode?

Yes, there is a New Game Plus mode in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. However, it is locked behind the Master Vacation DLC pack, which is only available as a part of the Deluxe or Ultimate Editions and is not being sold separately. So, to access New Game Plus in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, you must pay for it. Unfortunately, this means you won’t just be able to access New Game Plus by finishing the base game like you can with almost every other game, including within the Yakuza franchise.

The New Game Plus mode will allow you to replay the entire story while carrying over certain aspects of your character. This includes your level, gear, items, completed side quests, and money. Additionally, you’ll likely unlock extra difficulty modes, as this is what happened in the original Like a Dragon game.
