Interview with Michael Pearce (Misc. A Tiny Tale, Jurassic Explorer)
This week on the Crater Corner podcast, the boys catch up with Michael Pearce, a Western Australian indie developer working on Misc. A Tiny Tale. Michael previously worked on the Jurassic World passion project, Jurassic Explorer, before starting his own video game studio, Tinyware Games. Michael has also competed in a game jam and really loves PangYa.
Misc. A Tiny Tale is without a shadow of a doubt a marvellous achievement in originality and the successful innovation of an oversaturated genre. It astounds with its unique world and characters while maintaining a level of unabashedly extraordinary gameplay. Misc. A Tiny Tale is by far one of the greatest smile-inducing titles I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing. You can check out our full demo preview of Misc. A Tiny Tale here.
The Crater Corner is a podcast all about celebrating everything video games. Its hosts, Jayden Hellyar and Tom Wilson, cover a wide range of topics from indie gaming to Ariana Grande concerts in Fortnite. They also frequently interview game developers such as Square Enix Development Director, Alexandre Richer, and Far Cry turned indie developer, Nathan “Jitspoe” Wulf.
