The beloved Funko Pop! figures from across your favorite franchises are coming to the gaming world this year in Funko Fusion. Here is everything you need to know about it.
Funko Pop! figures have grabbed the world’s attention and hearts for a number of years. Now, players will be able to jump out of the box and play as some of their favorite characters in their Funko form. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Funko Pop!-inspired game, Funko Fusion.
What Is Funko Fusion?
Funko Fusion is a single-player, story-driven, third-person action-adventure game in which players can take on the roles of some of their favorite characters from multiple movies, TV shows, games, and comics. It will also include an online co-op experience.
Players will explore over 20 worlds based on franchises such as Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, and Hot Fuzz while playing a variety of pop culture characters, including Invincible. It looks to be somewhat LEGO-inspired, albeit with machine guns and far more gore. This is definitely a game targeted toward an older demographic. Fortunately, you won’t need to use physical Funko Pops! to play it. This is not the next Skylanders!
Funko Fusion is also the debut title from 10:10 Games, a studio co-founded by five-time BAFTA award winner and TT Games founder Jon Burton. It is made up of a team of experienced developers known for their work on the LEGO games.
Funko Fusion Release Date & Platforms
Funko Fusion will be launching on Friday, September 13, 2024. It will be available to purchase digitally and physically on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Funko Fusion Price
Funko Fusion will cost $59.99/£54.99 across all platforms. It will also have a pre-order bonus at no additional cost, regardless of whether you purchase the physical or digital version. The pre-order bonus will include two playable characters from The Walking Dead: Rick Grimes and Michonne Hawthrone. Variant Outfits for both characters will also be included. This includes Rick Grimes as Alexandria’s Leader and Michonne in her Traveler outfit.

This is predominantly made up of Universal-owned properties, as well as some independent IP such as characters from Image Comics and Five Nights at Freddy’s.
