In early September, Microsoft announced the Xbox Games Pass will include EA’s subscription service, EA Play. Since then, Microsoft has announced another partnership with Zenimax media, the parent company of Bethesda, and is transforming the value of the Xbox Games Pass completely.
On September 29th, Xbox announced the official date of EA Play on Xbox Game Pass for consoles. On November 10th, 2020, the same day as the launch of the Xbox Series X and S, EA Play will become available to Xbox Game Pass console players.
Although there is no specific date for when EA Play will be joining the Xbox family for PC, the Xbox Games Pass Twitter announced it will be available in December. Owning an EA Play membership will give subscribers access to some of EA’s biggest games, including Mass Effect, Battlefield, The Sims, and more. They will also have access to EA’s 10-hour trial feature, allowing players to play 10 hours of brand new games for free.
