Disco Elysium: The Final Cut Coming to Nintendo Switch On October 13th

The award-winning, groundbreaking role-playing game, Disco Elysium: The Final Cut, is finally making its way to the Nintendo Switch.

Initially released in October 2019, the game got a bulky expansion featuring full voice acting and new content in The Final Cut version, released on other platforms in March 2021. Disco Elysium: The Final Cut features fresh locations, citizens, and political vision quests that flesh out the world and narrative.

The Nintendo Switch release is not a port but an entire reassembly of the game on the Switch hardware. It will include a redesigned user interface, font scaling options, improved eligibility and other quality of life updates for the detective gamer on the go.

Disco Elysium: The Final Cut is now available for pre-order digitally via the Nintendo eShop for $39.99/£34.99/€39.99. Those who are collectors of the physical edition will have to wait a little longer, as the physical version will not be available until some time in 2022.

For true fans of the game, a Limited Collector’s Edition is being sold by iam8bit for $249.99. The Collector’s Edition will feature an innovative “Layers of the Id” premium box, hand-painted “Mid Totem” vinyl sculpture, a 190-page hardcover art book, and the physical edition of Disco Elysium: The Final Cut with a reversible cover.
