Week of Legend Lore – Day Three
Wednesday brought in the mid-week of Wizards of the Coast‘s week-long event. The event through which, every day, Wizards of the Coast intend to make exciting reveals. For a full list of their announcements, you can find the official Week of Legend Lore website here.
Our host through this tantalising event is Ellywick Tumblestrum, bard of the multiverse. Played by Erika Fermina of Girls, Guts, Glory, Ellywick will be taking us through all the exciting announcements this week. To begin with, we have a special Dark Alliance preview.
Dark Alliance – Official Gameplay Reveal Trailer
Firstly, ahead of the June 22nd digital launch, Wizards of the Coast have released a new trailer highlighting the major game mechanics, story, and characters to expect in Dark Alliance. Hilariously narrated by Jermaine Clement, this video shows what to expect from the game’s story, its combat, and its monsters.
For just under 5 minutes, watch as the skills of player characters, Drizzt Do’Urden, Catti-bri, Wulfgar, and Bruenor Battlehammer are showcased in full for the first time. Journey to the frozen Icewind Dale in the trailer below!
Lambert House Pride Special
Secondly, the other of Wednesday’s announcements comes as a celebration of Pride Month.
In support of Lambert House, a centre that empowers LGBT+ and questioning youth, the Penny Arcade are putting on a special D&D stream. So, join DM, Kate Welch, and players, Jeremy Crawford, Trystan Falcone, Omega Jones, AJ Lamarque, and Anthony Rapp as their characters help Walnut Dankgrass in her quest to stay out of the doghouse.
