Season 5 is upon us, and Call of Duty have announced that following the successful launch of The Boys in Warzone, more celebrities are receiving their own characters in Call of Duty, such as Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg and 21 Savage, as part of the 50 years of Hip Hop celebration.
New characters aren’t the only new element, and players will receive new free war tracks just for logging in.
How to Unlock Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj and 21 Savage in Call of Duty
Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj and 21 Savage will be available by purchasing their bundles via the in-game store. While it’s not currently confirmed how much these characters will be, it seems like we can make an educated guess based on the pricing of other similar characters.
Characters from Amazon’s popular superhero TV show, The Boys, are currently available for purchase in the store. With these bundles being 2400 coins, we can imagine that the Hip Hop bundles will be the same.
Why Are These Characters Available?
Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj and 21 Savage will be available as part of Call of Duty’s 50 years of Hip Hop celebration.
Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone will have free content and special Bundles available throughout Season 05. If you don’t want to purchase any bundles, there is still a way to get behind the celebrations with free War Tracks.
Free Call of Duty War Tracks
Ever since its debut in 2019, War Tracks in Call of Duty have featured some of hip hop’s most influential tracks.
To commemorate 50 years of Hip Hop, if you log in between August 7 and August 16, Modern Warfare 2 or Warzone on four separate days during this period, you’ll be rewarded with free hip-hop War Tracks.
Each of the first three days you log in will grant you a unique War Track from the ’80s (Foundation), ’90s (Golden Era), or 2000s (Life After Y2K). On the fourth day, your login will be rewarded with a special Weapon Blueprint.
The best part is that you don’t need to do anything extra to receive these items; they will be automatically added to your inventory after logging in.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 5 will release on August 2, 2023. Make sure you take full advantage of the last few days of Temp V.
