Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is set to be the annual Call of Duty game for 2020 with a release date of November 13.
Earlier today there was an update to Warzone allowing players to dive into a playlist called ‘Know Your History’. Players had to kill enemies and loot various areas for items before obtaining a weapon blueprint from Woods. At the beginning of the game, a timer was started and if you finished the tasks before the timer expired, you moved on the next step.
The next step involved running from where ever you spawned to the stadium before a cut scene emerges with the trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
The single-player storyline picks up in the middle of the cold war between the US and the Soviet Union. The player is tasked to hunt down Soviet spy known only as “Perseus,” who is based on a possible Soviet spy alleged to have breached the United States of America in real life.
Black Ops Cold War will revive iconic character from the black ops series. With Alex Woods, Frank Mason and Jason Hudson set to feature in the latest blockbuster. President Ronald Reagan will also be present in the game for narrative building.
