Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora: How to Make it Rain

Players will need to make it rain in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora in order to harvest certain materials. Here’s how you do that.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora features a number of unique weather conditions, from rain to cloudless skies. You’ll need to explore Pandora in some of these weather conditions to harvest the best materials. However, much like in real life, you can’t make it rain by magic. As Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora encourages players to figure out its various mechanics by themselves, some people can be left a little stumped when it comes to meeting those weather conditions. Fortunately, that’s where we come in. Below, we explain exactly how to make it rain in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

How to Make it Rain in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

The only way to make it rain in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is to pass the time. Passing time in the game not only changes the time of day but also the weather conditions of the area you’re in. You will need to rest at a nearby camp to pass the time. Typically, Resting Spots can be found near campfires within the camp and will pass the time by a few hours.

Once you’ve passed the time, you’ll be able to see what the new weather conditions are by opening up your map and looking next to the compass in the bottom right corner. You’ll need to change the weather, often to rain, in order to gather unique materials. For example, to get Blood Leaf Pollen, you need to change the weather to a Thunderstorm. Additionally, you’ll need to meet certain weather conditions in order to harvest the best versions of certain materials.
