Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora in Third-Person

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora: Can You Play Third-Person?

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a gorgeous open-world game where you can customize your character, and players wonder if you can play the game in third-person.

Playing Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora in third-person would allow players to see the customization options they select for their character. Here is everything you need to know about playing Avatar in third-person.

Can You Play Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora in Third-Person?

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is predominately first-person but will switch to third-person in some scenarios, such as riding your Ikran or Direhouse. This means the majority of the time, you will be exploring the game in first person.

According to an interview with IGN, the developers made the decision not to include third-person, stating that “the very best way” to experience the stunning world of Pandora is in first-person. Some games feature the option to switch between first-person and third-person, but this won’t be an option for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

Will You Ever Be Able to Play Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora in Third-Person?

It seems unlikely you will ever be able to play Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora in third-person. As per the IGN interview, the developers were pretty adamant that they preferred the game to be in first person for immersion.

Possibly in the future, if the game comes to Steam, Ubisoft may allow the game to be modded, but this is also highly unlikely. Unfortunately, you’ll have to get used to the game being mostly first-person.
