SK Telecom to Participate in E3 Expo for the First Time in 2021

The South Korean telecommunications company, SK Telecom, announced that it is holding a booth at E3 Expo for the first time to target the global console game market.

SK Telecom is looking to publish various video games and actively support South Korean game markets as the only company in Asia to cooperate with Microsoft‘s Xbox for 5GX Cloud Gaming. The four games SKT will present at E3 are ANVIL, Little Witch in the Woods, Vapor World, and NEOVERSE

ANVIL

Developed by Action Squire, ANVIL is a multi-player co-op top-down sci-fi roguelike action shooter where players control characters called Vault Breakers to explore various galaxies that are filled with monsters. 

Little Witch in the Woods

Created by Sunny Side Up, Little Witch in the Woods is a pixel art-fantasy role-playing game where you play Ellie, a young witch who comes to a town and starts living in a witch’s house to study magical creatures, potions and witchcraft.

VAPOR World

Developed by Alive, VAPOR World is an action and adventure game where players play in the inner world of mental patients. 

NEOVERSE

Created by Tinogames, NEOVERSE is a time-warping multiverse game consisting of thrilling adventures that are packed with great and exciting challenges; combining roguelike, deck building and strategy gameplay all in one. The game has been available on Steam since February 18th, 2020.

NEOVERSE was already released as an Xbox and 5GX Cloud game on December 17th, 2020. The other three games are also expected to launch on Xbox and 5GX Cloud Game gradually this year. During the E3 Expo, visitors will be able to play the ANVIL demo. Testers will be able to contribute to the game’s completion by providing feedback.

SK Telecom’s participation in E3 2021 aims to elevate console games created by Korean game developers and help these developers expand into the global market.
