Sound of Vondel Warzone Song by Oliver Heldens

Oliver Heldens Releases New Song for Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4

Global Music superstar Oliver Heldens has joined forces with Call of Duty Warzone to celebrate the game’s latest Season 4 update with a special song.

The track, titled “Sound of Vondel,” draws inspiration from the new Battle Royale map, Vondel, and showcases Heldens’ alter-ego sound as HI-LO. It also features familiar sounds from Captain Price, a beloved character from the game’s Task Force 141. Sound of Vondel is available to stream now on all music platforms.

Oliver Heldens is a Big Fan of Call of Duty

Oliver Heldens recently spoke to an interviewer on the Call of Duty blog, and expressed his excitement about the partnership, calling it a dream come true. His association with the Call of Duty franchise goes back to his early days when he named some of his first tracks after weapons.

Heldens mentioned his love for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, and his fondness for strategic gameplay, map awareness, and outsmarting opponents. Reflecting on the collaboration, he shared his vision for Sound of Vondel, aiming to create a techno-focused track in his HI-LO style while integrating iconic sounds from the game’s soundtrack and Captain Price’s voice.

When asked about assembling a DJ supergroup based on the best Call of Duty players, Heldens mentioned fellow Dutch DJs Mike Cervello, Sven Fields, and Afrojack — or Alan Walker for more kills. He also revealed his game night playlist, which includes Sound of Vondel alongside peak time techno, hard techno/trance/rave tracks, and heavy-hitting drum and bass. You can check out the full interview on the Call of Duty blog.
