Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.3 Finally Receives New Details
Update: The full patch notes for Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.3 have been released and you can check them out here.
CD Projekt Red has announced new details regarding patch 1.3 for their much-maligned first-person shooter, Cyberpunk 2077.
Fans of Cyberpunk 2077 and those simply waiting for it to become functional have been sitting patiently for even a sliver of information regarding the next big patch. Many, including ourselves, felt that the previous patches did little to rectify the game’s many issues. Fortunately, CD Projekt Red has announced new details surrounding the future patch. While we still have to wait a little bit for the upcoming patch, these details at least prove its existence. They also are fairly informative about what kinds of fixes and improvements we can expect.
What’s Coming In Patch 1.3?
CD Projekt Red posted a brand-new blog post to their website as well as three new videos uploaded to their YouTube channel that focus on the patch’s details. Namely three new improvements coming to the game. These are:
An improvemed mini-map system
Slight adjustments to a specific story mission
The ability to respec your skill points
Suffice to say, those expecting more are likely disappointed. Especially as these fixes, while appreciated, don’t even begin to address the severe issues still present. However, CD Projekt Red will be live streaming today at 10 AM ET. Hopefully, they’ll go over the patch in more detail, and perhaps let us know about that free DLC we’ve been waiting for.
The Future Of Cyberpunk 2077
Honestly, it’s hard to say what will potentially be in patch 1.3. The first thing that springs to mind is fixes to the broken police system. Perhaps the last-gen consoles will continue to get updates to help with performance and population density? But asking any Cyberpunk 2077 fan will net you a laundry list of other fixes they’re hoping for. So, as much as we’d like to give a definitive answer until they say more later today, it’s a fool’s errand guessing. Be sure to let us know what you’d like to see addressed in patch 1.3 via our social media.
