Beyond Mankind: The Awakening, by Brytenwalda Studios, is a brand-new post-apocalyptic game that launches on Steam this May.
Beyond Mankind: The Awakening takes inspiration from some of the best post-apocalyptic games out there, Fallout, Metro: 2033, and STALKER, and combines them to create a unique experience unlike any other! Explore a ruined world that has abandoned all hope as an aptly named H.O.P.E soldier. Take on the main story, discover intriguing side quests, and engage in complex social interactions that may even develop into a romance! (oh la la)
Beyond Mankind: The Awakening also features a survival system in which you must craft weapons and tools, find shelter when need be, and above all else monitor your mental health, in order to stay alive! It also features a 3D inventory system which is pretty neat! The game also has a unique character customisation system which is all about “DNA and culture selection”. Sounds intriguing, and I’m looking forward to seeing what that’s all about!
