XDefiant: How to Unlock All Faction Characters

Players can unlock a number of unique Faction characters to play as in XDefiant. Here is how you unlock each one of them.

Faction characters play a huge role in how you approach combat in XDefiant. However, to get access to them all, you’ll first need to unlock them. Of course, considering Ubisoft’s stance on pay-to-win microtransactions, you can earn all of these by completing challenges. You may have missed what these challenges are or want to know in advance, so we’ve listed them all for you below.

How to Unlock All Faction Characters in XDefiant

There are currently eight Faction characters players can unlock in XDefiant. You can do this by completing challenges utilizing different pieces of equipment. These challenges can be completed in any of the game’s maps or game modes. Below, we have listed each character and their unlock condition:

• Beto – Heal 5,000 to Allies with the BioVida boost
• Gorgon – Block 10,000 damage with the Mag Barrier
• Green – Score 50 Incinerator Drone kills
• Kersey – Score 40 kills with the Firebomb
• Rafa – Score 50 assists while using the Intel Spot Suit
• Rhino – Score 25 kills with the Blitz Shield
• Samir – Score 100 kills while using the Digital Ghillie Suit
• Seleste – Heal 5,000 to Allies using El Remedio

You can locate this for yourself and keep track of your progress by heading to the Faction Characters tab in the Base menu under Challenges. Ubisoft will be adding more characters and Factions to XDefiant with each Season. Of course, we’ll update this article with those characters’ unlock conditions when they are added.
