Zenless Zone Zero is a PlayStation exclusive, for now, but will it ever come to Xbox? Here’s what you need to know.
Zenless Zone Zero is the latest smash hit from developer HoYoverse. It launched first on PC, mobile phones, and PlayStation 5, with no mention of an Xbox port. So, it’s understandable that Xbox fans are keen to know if it will ever grace their preferred platform. Unfortunately, if you were hoping to play Zenless Zone Zero on the Series X/S, you’re almost certainly out of luck.
Is Zenless Zone Zero Coming to Xbox?
No, it seems very unlikely that Zenless Zone Zero will ever come to Xbox. It is currently not available on the platform, and considering HoYoverse’s past with porting to Xbox, it is doubtful it ever will be. Zenless Zone Zero will likely remain a PlayStation exclusive forever unless the demand for an Xbox port is truly enormous.
HoYoverse has previously promised to port Honkai: Star Rail and, more importantly, Genshin Impact to Xbox Series X/S. However, this has yet to materialize. The Genshin Impact Xbox port was announced when it was first released just under four years ago, in 2020. Unlike both of those games, however, HoYoverse has not promised a Zenless Zone Zero port. So, it’s even less likely to happen than those it said it would deliver four years ago.
Of course, Zenless Zone Zero is available for free on mobile devices. You’ll need a relatively powerful phone, but most modern devices should be able to handle it.
