XDefiant: Why Isn’t the Practice Zone Working?

Players may want to give XDefiant’s Practice Zone mode a whirl to test out their skills. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear to be working.

When selecting which mode you want to play in XDefiant, players have three choices: Unranked, Ranked, and Practice Mode. However, while the first two are accessible, players will have discovered that the Practice Mode doesn’t work. You cannot select it at all. Fortunately, there is a very simple explanation for this.

How to Fix Practice Zone Not Working in XDefiant

The Practice Zone mode doesn’t work in XDefiant because it hasn’t been implemented yet. Despite appearing on the Play screen in XDefiant, it isn’t actually a functioning mode. So, unfortunately, this means that there is no way to actually fix the Practice Mode. This is a huge shame for those who prefer to play solo, as the Practice Zone is surely intended for those who want to improve their skills without other players interfering.

However, while Ubisoft hasn’t said when the Practice Zone will be made available, we do have some idea. According to the game’s roadmap, both Private Matches and the Practice Zone will be added in later seasons. Unfortunately, the roadmap does not specify in which seasons these will be added. Nevertheless, rest assured that these modes will be added eventually.

XDefiant Roadmap

So, for the time being, you’ll just have to avoid using the Practice Zone in XDefiant. Ubisoft will almost certainly announce when it has been officially implemented. It is just confusing why it opted to include it in the menu this early on. That’s everything you need to know about fixing the Practice Zone mode in XDefiant.
