The ACR 6.8 is the king of Assault Rifles in XDefiant, and players will want to unlock it quickly. Luckily, it isn’t too hard to get.
XDefiant currently features over 24 weapons in its arsenal for players to use. Many of them need to be unlocked through various challenges. The ACR 6.8, the best in the Assault Rifles class currently, is one such weapon. While the challenge may seem tough initially, it’s quite straightforward. Below, we have you covered how to unlock the ACR 6.8 in XDefiant so you can get out there and start dominating the battlefield as quickly as possible.
How to Unlock the ACR 6.8 in XDefiant
To unlock the ACR 6.8 in XDefiant, you have to get 10 Longshot Kills with Assault Rifles. A kill counts as a Longshot Kill when your target is over 30 meters away. After earning the allotted amount of kills, the ACR 6.8 is yours to keep, and you can begin the grind to level it up and get some attachments for it.
The Longshot kills may seem tough in XDefiant but 30 meters is not too overwhelming to achieve. It is best to go into the Domination mode as there are set points players must capture. Additionally, the capture points have distance indicators on them for you to help set up your Longshot distance. Once you have picked the point you want to get the kills on, ensure the distance marker and the area around it are over 30 meters away and begin picking off your enemies. When it comes to which Assault Rifle you should use, we highly recommend the M4A1. Aside from being a starting AR, it also has an incredibly steady accuracy and significant damage to help get those Longshots.

The ACR 6.8 is more than worth obtaining, especially if you enjoy Assault Rifles in XDefiant. The weapon is a S Tier gun and truly one of the strongest and best weapons in the entire game. Even with its base setup, you will be cutting down plenty of foes efficiently, no matter the distance or game mode. That is everything to know about unlocking the ACR 6.8 in XDefiant.
