Wuthering Waves: The Fastest Ways to Level Up Your Data Bank

Players looking to equip the strongest Echoes in Wuthering Waves will need to get their Data Bank level as high as possible. Here are the fastest ways to achieve that.

In Wuthering Waves, players can utilize Echoes to unlock new powers that can completely turn the tide of battle. However, to get the strongest and rarest Echoes, you’ll need to level up your Data Bank. This is fairly easy, but the more you do it, the longer it takes. With 208 Echoes to get, players will want to level up their Data Bank as quickly as possible. Fortunately, we’ve broken down the fastest ways to do it below.

How to Level Up Your Data Bank Fast in Wuthering Waves

There are several ways to level up your data bank quickly in Wuthering Waves. This includes using your Echo Gallery to track Echoes you haven’t collected many of, using the Data Merge feature to create new Echoes, and grinding Tacet Fields. We’ll explain them all below:

Using the Echo Gallery

The Echo Gallery is found within the Data Bank menu, and it allows you to see all of the Echoes you’ve currently located, as well as the rarest one you’ve got. You can then select any Echoes with the lowest collection progress and track them.

This will show you their closest location, allowing you to catch several of them and unlock their rarer versions. If you’re able to catch a higher rarity version of an Echo you’ve already got, you’ll get experience for all of the rarities before it.

Using Data Merge

After you’ve gotten your Data Bank to level 15, you’ll unlock the Data Merge feature. This allows you to combine your current Echoes to create a new one. Of course, this will give you a huge boost in XP for your Data Bank level. The higher the rarity of Echoes you merge, the rarer the Echo you’ll receive. It’s a very useful method but obviously requires you to reach level 15 first.

Grinding Tacet Fields

Tacet Fields are unlocked at Union Level 19 and prove to be a tough but rewarding challenge. For completing just one of these, you’ll get a first-time completion bonus, which often includes new Echoes. The more you grind in Wuthering Waves, the more Echoes you’ll get, giving you a huge boost to your Data Bank level.

However, it’s important to note that you’ll need Waveplates in order to do them. If you don’t have enough, you can always focus on grinding bosses, as they don’t require Waveplates and often give you a lot of XP.
