Agent Tokens allow you to unlock various Agents in the Valorant console beta, but there are currently only limited ways to obtain them.
The Valorant beta is currently live on consoles, and any progress players make will carry over to the full game, including any cosmetics or unlocked Agents. Fortunately, players can access a couple of Agent Tokens in the Beta, and here is how you can get them.
How to Unlock Agent Tokens in the Valorant Console Beta
To unlock Agent Tokens in the Valorant console beta, players only need to complete the tutorial for Valorant and the Basic Training Event. You are currently given two Agent Tokens to obtain the game. Whether this will change and more will be given in the future is currently unknown. Here are additional details about the two accessible Agent Tokens in Valorant’s console beta.
Complete the Valorant Beta Tutorial
The first Agent Token is gifted to players for simply booting up Valorant and finishing the tutorial. Upon starting up the game, players will be brought into the tutorial mission. It consists of teaching you the basics of how to play the game and use Agent abilities. Additionally, players then play a “Vs AI match” to get a feel for the game.
Once both segments are done, you can return to the main menu, and the first Agent Token will be yours. Then, hit your console’s back button, either Circle or B, on PlayStation and Xbox. It will bring you back to the full menu of the game. Afterwards, head over a couple of tabs until you reach one that says “Agents”. Click on this tab, and under the Play option, in yellow, it will say 1x Free Agent Token. Players have a Token to use for any of the 19 locked Agents in the roster if this appears.

Complete the Basic Training Event in the Valorant Beta
Players must fully complete the Basic Training Event in the beta for Valorant to receive the second Agent Token. However, the event is for new players only. Therefore, those with existing Valorant accounts are not applicable. The Basic Training Event consists of 5 sets of challenges to finish, with the last rewarding the Agent Token. Below is a table with all of the challenges for the event:
