Electronic Arts Australia and Fortress are joining forces to bring an IRL The Sims party to Australia full of drinks, dancing, and trying out the new expansion, Lovestruck.
The Sims 4’s latest expansion, Lovestruck, aims to bring modern dating to the iconic life sim. Introducing the new Cupid’s Corner app, players can match their Sims, navigate their turn-ons and offs, and even become a Romance Consultant. Of course, this expansion is dropping on July 25, 2024. However, to celebrate, EA is hosting an IRL party in Australia for fans to attend. Below are all the details.
Dance, Drink, and Play At The Sims Lovestruck Parties
The Sims Lovestruck Parties is taking place on August 3 at Fortress Sydney and August 10 at Fortress Melbourne. Tickets cost just $12AUD and include a free drink on arrival plus your very own Plumbob headband to keep. There is so much to do at these events, including listening to Simlish covers, trying out the new Lovestruck expansion for yourself, busting out your favorite moves, and trying out dishes and drinks inspired by ones from the game. Below is a full list of everything you can expect at The Sims Lovestruck Parties:
- Plumbob headbands for all partygoers (don’t worry, these plumbobs won’t turn red!)
- DJs spinning Simlish covers from The Sims’ nostalgic soundtrack
- Iconic imagery from the games brought to life for fan photo opportunities
- Free play stations for fans to dive into the new Lovestruck expansion pack
- An iconic Sims-inspired dance floor for fans to bust out their best moves
- Themed cocktails and menu items, including fan-favorite dishes from The Sims
