Super Mario Party Jamboree is the latest title in the Mario Party series and offers players the biggest experience yet. Here’s everything you need to know.
Super Mario Party Jamboree was announced during the June 18, 2024 Nintendo Direct. It is the biggest entry into the series so far, promising a lot of new boards and minigames for players to get stuck into. Of course, there’s a lot to break down, so we’ve compiled absolutely everything you need to know about it below.
Release Date & Price
Super Mario Party Jamboree will be released for the Nintendo Switch on Thursday, October 17, 2024. Like all Nintendo games, it will have a midnight local launch across the world.
It will cost $59.99/£49.99/AU$79.95. You can purchase it digitally via the Nintendo eShop or pick it up physically at your local retailer.
All Boards
There are seven boards in Super Mario Party Jamboree. Five of them are brand-new and are themed around a resort island. The other two are complete remakes of boards from Mario Party 1 and Mario Party 2. These boards are:
- Mega Wiggler’s Tree Party (New)
- King Bowser’s Keep (New)
- Roll ‘Em Raceway (New)
- Goomba Lagoon (New)
- Rainbow Galleria (New)
- Mario’s Rainbow Castle (Mario Party 1)
- Western Land (Mario Party 2)

All Playable Characters
There are 21 characters in Super Mario Party Jamboree. These range from the obvious, like Mario and Luigi, to the more obscure, like Ninji and Spike. Here is a full list of every confirmed character:

All Modes
We currently know of just two modes in Super Mario Party Jamboree: Party Mode and Koopathlon. However, the announcement trailer teases several more. Below is a breakdown of every mode confirmed for the game:
- Party Mode – The traditional boardgame mode in which players compete to collect Stars
- Koopathlon – An online mode for up to 20 players. You’ll compete across a series of minigames to reach 1st place.

All Minigames
There are 110 minigames in Super Mario Party Jamboree. This is 10 more than the last game, Mario Party Superstars, and makes it the “biggest” Mario Party game to date. While a full list hasn’t been announced, players have plenty of new and exciting minigames to look forward to.
