Beloved musical-centered game Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical is launching the Orpheus DLC across all platforms this week.
Since its release, Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical has received much love, to the point of a Grammy nomination, so it’s safe to say the gaming community absolutely adored the Australian-made game. Now, it’s returning with its first DLC, Stray Gods: Orpheus, a highly anticipated comedic feature that all kinds of players can enjoy.
What Is Stray Gods: Orpheus?
Stray Gods: Orpheus is a DLC for Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical. In it, players will jump into Orpheus’s new, continued storyline. He is brought back into the fray when Hermes returns him to the land of the living. Here, players will be faced with various interesting choices during their play, such as who to date, what to hope for, and what instrument to play.
Stray Gods: Orpheus will also include six brand-new original songs. Similar to the original game, each decision changes the song and the story itself. Austin Wintory composed this new music, and the lyrics were from Simon Hall, Montaigne, and Tom Cardy. Players can also get ready to rock out to amazing vocals as Anthony Rapp and Erika Ishii have returned to their roles as Orpheus and Hermes from the original game.
When Is Stray Gods: Orpheus Releasing?
Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical DLC Stray Gods: Orpheus will be released on Thursday, June 27, 2024, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Serties X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
