How To Connect PS VR2 to PC

It should be noted that the PS VR2 was made specifically for PlayStation 5 consoles. This means features such as HDR, headset feedback, eye tracking, adaptive triggers, and haptic feedback will unfortunately not be available when playing on a PC as it is a PlayStation 5 VR headset. However, 4k visuals, 110-degree field of view, finger touch detection, see-through view, foveated rendering, and 3D audio will be supported on PC. Players will need to set up their PS VR2 on their PC to then customize their settings and play area. Below are the steps for connecting your PS VR2 to your PC.

  • Connect the PlayStation VR2 to your PC using the PS VR2 PC adapter and the DisplayPort 1.4 cable.
  • Download the PlayStation VR2 App.
  • Download the SteamVR App from Steam.

It is essential your PC meets the minimum requirements and the SteamVR title you’d like to play. System compatibility, the quality of the DisplayPort 1.4 cable, and the SteamVR titles system requirements also determine how your PC and PS VR2 perform. Players would benefit from double-checking all requirements before purchasing a SteamVR game.
