The recent Ubisoft Forward 2024 event gave us another glimpse at Star Wars Outlaws, which looks set to give players the Star Wars scoundrel fantasy they’ve always wanted.
Kicking off the Ubisoft Forward 2024 event was Star Wars Outlaws. After an initial reveal way back when, we’ve finally gotten a glimpse at the kind of adventure we can expect in Ubisoft Massive’s upcoming Star Wars adventure. The showcase revealed around 10 minutes of footage, revealing what an average mission would look like. Below, we explain everything that we saw in case you missed out.
Star Wars Outlaws Gameplay Shows Off Combat, Stealth & More
The new gameplay shown of Star Wars Outlaws at the 2024 Ubisoft Forward gives more insight into what to expect. We got to see a seedy spaceport where you can replenish your supplies and even play arcade games. Then, Kay Vess jetted off to the iconic desert planet of Tatooine in search of someone to help enhance her skills. You’ll need to seek out special teachers in order to unlock new skills and abilities. Additionally, we got to see more about the game’s reputation system with the different crime families. While in space, Kay randomly stumbles upon a Pyke freighter being attacked by pirates and helps save them, which increases their standing with the Pyke Syndicate.
Furthermore, players can unlock new skills to add to Kay Vess, such as lockpicking. Unlocking these skills can be done by completing different challenges that are associated with them. Players can also engage in ship combat, seamlessly jump to lightspeed, and land on a different planet. The trailer showcases Kay Vess sneaking up and dispatching foes with ease. Players can also take enemies down non-lethally with a stun rather than only killing foes they sneak up on.
The world of Star Wars Outlaws seems massive and offers various opportunities for players to take part in.
