If you want to unlock some of MultiVersus’ best cosmetics, you’ll need to get your hands on Prestige Points. Here’s how you get them.
When MultiVersus relaunched on May 28, it introduced a number of new currency types. One such currency, Prestige Points, is confusing players. Frankly, it’s no surprise when there are so many to contend with. Prestige Points are used to get exclusive cosmetics, such as a The Batman Who Laughs Joker skin. These cosmetics will cost you anywhere from 9,000 Prestige Points to 100,000. So, you’ll need to get a lot if you want to unlock everything. Fortunately, getting Prestige Points in MultiVersus isn’t tricky, but it can be costly.
How to Earn Prestige Points in MultiVersus
The only way to earn Prestige Points in MultiVersus is by getting new cosmetics. Whenever you purchase or unlock a new cosmetic, you’ll also be rewarded with a handful of Prestige Points. Unfortunately, outside of this method, there is no other way to get Prestige Points. You cannot buy them or earn them by completing challenges. You must get more cosmetics to earn more Prestige Points.
Of course, the quickest way to get your hands on Prestige Points is to simply buy more cosmetics from the store. You can use Gleamium, another currency, which is bought with real-life money, to get cosmetics. Alternatively, if you don’t want to spend a lot of money, you can earn cosmetics by completing objectives and leveling up the Battle Pass.

The rarer the cosmetic, the more Prestige Points you’ll get. So, common taunts, for example, might net you around 300 Prestige Points, whereas rarer skins could get you upwards of 1,000 Prestige Points. That’s everything you need to know about Prestige Points in MultiVersus. For more guides just like this one, be sure to check out our Guide Hub.
