Gems are a helpful tool that players will use in the MultiVersus mode Rifts. They increase your character’s stats, as well as unlock abilities such as dodging. There are three different types of Gems: Chaos, Digital, and Horror, as well as three different slots you can equip them: Defense, Attack, and Utility. Of course, if you want to get stronger, level up your Gems, or just focus on a specific build, then you’ll need to unlock even more. Fortunately, it’s fairly easy to do.
How to Get Gems in MultiVersus
Gems are obtained from Acme loot boxes in MultiVersus, which you will get as a reward for beating Rift Nodes, completing Daily Rewards, reaching a certain Battle Pass level, and finishing Daily Missions. Additionally, you can choose to purchase Gems and Gem XP from the Rift Store using Gleamium, the game’s premium currency. This is the most costly method and not completely necessary unless you are really desperate. Of course, there are ways of getting Gleamium for free.
The best way to get Gems in MultiVersus is via completing Rift Nodes. Specifically, you’ll need to look out for nodes that have the Daily Reward tag beneath them, as these will guarantee you new Gems. Alternatively, grinding Daily Missions, which reset at the same time every day, is also a pretty effective way of getting a lot of Gems.
Once you’ve collected enough Gems, be sure to equip them before heading into a match. That way, you can level them up and make them significantly more powerful.
