If you like a good hero shooter but don’t fancy playing against real players, then you may be wondering if Marvel Rivals has a singleplayer mode.
Marvel Rivals likely appeals to most players, especially those with a fondness for the comics and hero shooters. Of course, this will include a small, but nevertheless important, player base who prefer their multiplayer games a little less “multi.” Fortunately, if you were hoping that Marvel Rivals would have singleplayer content, you’re absolutely in luck.
Does Marvel Rivals Have Singleplayer Bots?
Yes, Marvel Rivals does have singleplayer bots. You can play alone against bots by accessing the Custom Game mode. From here, you can fill up the 11 remaining slots with bots. That is 5 bots on your team and 6 on the opposing team. You will be able to access all game modes this way. So, absolutely no content is locked off for those who prefer to play alone.
The bots have three difficulty modes: easy, normal, and hard. While the easy bots are pretty much push-overs, players will find the hard bots to be quite challenging. So, if you’re thinking of trying out Marvel Rivals specifically to play solo, it’s absolutely viable. It’s important to note that you’ll need to switch the Join Access option in the Room Settings to private. That way, no other players will be able to join your lobby. Finally, there is no PvE mode in Marvel Rivals. You will only be able to access the PvP content, albeit against bots.
