Into the Inklands Amber/Emerald Starter Deck Card List
The Amber and Emerald Into the Inklands starter deck for Disney Lorcana is all about questing and making the most of the new location cards. For example, Peter Pan – Lost Boy Leader, will gain you lore equal to the location he moves to each turn. Furthermore, Pongo – Determined Father can pay two ink per turn to reveal the top card of your deck, and, if it’s a character card, add it to your hand. This is helpful if you have Lucky – The 15th Puppy in play, as whenever he quests, if you have four or more other characters, they all get +1 lore that turn. It’s a deck all about synergies (like all good Lorcana decks) and one I personally play with a lot. Here are all the cards in this deck:
- 5 x Dalmation Puppy – Tail Wagger
- 3 x Kid – Atlantean
- 1 x Lucky – The 15th Puppy
- 2 x Nani – Protective Sister
- 3 x Patch – Intimidating Pup
- 1 x Pluto – Determined Defender
- 3 x Pluto – Friendly Pooch
- 1 x Pongo Determined Father
- 3 x Rolly – Hungry Pup
- 2 x Tinker Bell – Generous Fairy
- 3 x Wendy Darling – Talented Sailor
- 2 x Never Land – Mermaid Lagoon
- 3 x Cubby – Mighty Lost Boy
- 2 x Don Karnage – Prince of Pirates
- 2 x Flotsam – Riffraff
- 1 x Helga Sinclair – Vengeful Partner
- 2 x Horace – No Good Scoundrel
- 2 x Jasper – Common Crook
- 2 x Jetsam – Riffraff
- 2 x Kit Cloudkicker – Tough Guy
- 1 x Peter Pan – Lost Boy Leader
- 1 x Robin Hood – Daydreamer
- 1 x Starkey – Devious Pirate
- 2 x Wildcat – Mechanic
- 2 x Hypnotize
- 3 x Improvise
- 2 x Strike a Good Match
- 3 x De Vil Manor – Cruella’s Estate

Which Into the Inklands Starter Deck Should You Get?
We’d personally recommend most players get the Disney Lorcana Into the Inklands Amber and Emerald starter deck. It makes the best use of the new location cards while offering a robust deck centered around questing. While the Ruby and Sapphire deck is effective at challenging, the Amber and Emerald deck has more than enough to counter most challenges thanks to cards like Nani – Protective Sister.
Additionally, the Disney Lorcana Into the Inklands Amber and Emerald starter deck has one less repeated card from previous sets than the Ruby and Sapphire deck. Of course, it’s not a huge difference. However, if you want to experience mostly new cards from the Into the Inkland set, then you’re better off with the Amber and Emerald deck.

All New Into the Inklands Features
The new feature introduced in the Into the Inklands set is the location cards. These are a brand-new type of card, separate from characters, items, songs, and actions. Location cards, when played, stay on the board until they are banished by your opponent challenging them. Each turn, you gain lore equal to the amount shown on the card. This is separate from questing. Additionally, characters can move onto locations and reap the benefits from their own abilities or the location’s ability.
Locations add an interesting layer of strategy to Disney Lorcana and are a welcome addition to the Into the Inklands set. They force your opponent to deal with an additional quest threat while also giving you the advantage of its ability. The flipside, however, is that you have to pay not only to play the location but to move characters between it. This can get costly, especially when certain cards only work when they’re constantly moving between locations.
