The May 30 PlayStation State of Play revealed a number of new titles as well as updated fans on upcoming PS5 and PSVR2 projects. Here’s everything that was announced.
It’s fair to say that players have been hyped for a State of Play for some time. After a number of rumors pointed to one happening this month, Sony finally revealed it was happening today. Now that it’s been and gone, and the dust has settled, fans are getting excited for what was announced. Of course, if you missed it, we’ve compiled everything that was announced below.
All May 30 PlayStation State of Play Announcements
There were 14 reveals at the May 30 PlayStation State of Play. These ranged from brand-new game reveals to updates on already announced titles. All of the games mentioned in the State of Play were either for the PS5 or PSVR2. Below, you’ll find everything announced:
- Concord got a CG and gameplay trailer. Beta is launching in July. Full game is coming August 23, 2024, for PS5 and PC.
- God of War Ragnarok is coming to PC on September 19, 2024.
- Dynasty Warriors Origins was announced and is launching in 2025.
- Infinity Nikki got a gameplay trailer. A test is happening in Q3 of 2024.
- Ballad of Antara was announced for PS5. It’s coming 2025.
- Skydance’s Behemoth, a PSVR2 exclusive, is coming in Fall 2024.
- Alien Rogue Incursion, the horror PSVR2 experience, got a brief teaser. It is launching Holiday 2024.
- Marvel Rivals PS5 gameplay was revealed. It’s getting a Closed Beta in July 2024.
- Where the Winds Meet is an action-packed game inspired by Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. It did not get a release date.
- The Until Dawn Remake got a trailer. It’s coming to PS5 and PC in Fall 2024.
- Path of Exile 2 is coming to PlayStation 5 in late 2024.
- Silent Hill 2 got a gameplay trailer. It’s launching on October 8, 2024.
- Monster Hunter Wilds got a lengthy gameplay reveal. It’s coming in 2025.
- Astro Bot was announced for PS5. It looks awesome and is dropping on September 6, 2024.
