Best Archer Weapon Skills
The best Archer Weapon Skills in Dragon’s Dogma 2 are Sweep Shot, Dire Arrow, Exploding Shot, and Torrent Shot. These can all be unlocked early on, and all have more powerful upgraded versions, which are Cascade Shot, Deathly Arrow, Erupting Shot, and Tempest Shot.
Sweep Shot is a Weapon Skill you’ll be able to unlock fairly early on. It allows you to hit multiple enemies at once, as you’ll shoot out several arrows in a horizontal line. This makes it an incredibly effective move, not just for dealing lots of damage at once but also for evading a large group of enemies.
Dire Arrow is a far more targeted attack and is particularly helpful at taking down a single powerful foe. This is especially useful when fighting mini-boss enemies, such as the Cyclops, and can reliably knock down smaller enemies if you need to escape.

The Exploding Shot Weapon Skill is as it sounds. It’s a single arrow that can be fired at both enemies or terrain. After a short while, it’ll explode, allowing you to hit an enemy and watch it run to its friends, blowing them all up and dealing damage to nearby enemies. It’s a particularly powerful Weapon Skill and one absolutely worth unlocking.
Finally, the Torrent Shot allows you to shoot off multiple arrows sequentially, with each consecutive arrow being fired faster. This allows you to either unload into one enemy, staggering it as you fire or take down multiple foes quickly like you’re Legolas.
