Destiny 2: The Final Shape: How to Get The Final Warning Catalyst

Destiny 2: The Final Shape introduces a powerful new Catalyst for the Final Warning pistol, and we have the intel on how to obtain it.

The newest expansion for Destiny 2, The Final Shape, brings a lot of new content for players. While many players have been grinding for the new Exotic class items, a vital Catalyst is now available. The weapon Catalysts are bonuses to an exotic weapon. Whether it’s a new perk, more stat points, or both. The addition of The Final Shape brings a Catalyst for the mighty strand Exotic pistol, Final Warning, and here is how you can get it.

Where the Final Warning Catalyst Drops in Destiny 2

Players must complete the Strikes, Gambit, or Crucible activities to get the Final Warning Catalyst. However, the Catalyst dropping from the activities is entirely random. So, players must grind out any of the three to acquire it. It is best to alternate between the three activities so that the experience doesn’t get tiresome.

If you prefer to play only PvE to get the Catalyst, then head into the Vanguard Strikes playlist and keep completing them. Sooner or later, you will get the Final Warning Catalyst to drop, but this is only one part of equipping it with the exotic pistol. Players on the game’s Reddit page are also reporting that the Catalyst is dropping in private Crucible matches. You can grind the matches fast by setting the game mode to a flag capture and lowering the score. However, this should be taken with a grain of salt.

How to Complete the Final Warning Catalyst in Destiny 2

To complete the Catalyst for the Final Warning in Destiny 2, players need to acquire 700 kills using the Exotic Strand pistol. Whether it is players in Crucible or the various enemies in PvE, players need to rack up plenty of kills. One of the best places that you can rack up plenty of kills is the very beginning of the Grasp of Avarice dungeon. When you begin it, constant waves of Hive enemies will spawn, and they can add to your kills. You’ll get 700 kills for the Catalyst in no time!

What Does the Final Warning Catalyst Do in Destiny 2?

The Final Warning Catalyst, called “String Theory,” deals 5% more damage to marked enemies and has a chance to refill the magazine. Players can mark enemies with the Final Warning by holding down the trigger while shooting the gun. Afterward, once it is released, Strand projectiles launch toward marked targets. The Catalyst only further increases the damage to those foes. Additionally, the magazine refill is a bonus that makes their weapon even more fantastic to use.

That is everything to know about getting The Final Warning Catalyst in Destiny 2. It is an already great weapon, but earning this Catalyst is highly recommended.
