However, if you were hoping to play Concord alone against the AI, you’re out of luck.
Can You Play Concord Solo?
No, Concord does not have a single-player PvE mode where you can play against AI-controlled heroes. It is entirely multiplayer-focused, meaning you have to play against other players at all times. There is a training mode; however, this is to get to grips with the game’s mechanics and is not matches against offline bots.
It is worth noting that you can queue up as a solo player in the multiplayer lobbies. You don’t have to play with friends to join a multiplayer match. Simply start matchmaking, and you’ll be paired up with other players, just like most modern multiplayer titles. However, for those looking for a single-player experience, you’re out of luck.
Can You Play Concord Offline?
No, you cannot play Concord offline. You need a constant internet connection to play Concord at all. If you try and play Concord offline, you won’t be able to get past the start screen. Additionally, you will need an active PlayStation Plus subscription to play Concord. If your subscription runs out, you’ll no longer be able to access the game. This is the same as Helldivers 2, which also requires an active subscription and a constant internet connection to be played.
