Players are going to have access to the full roster of 16 characters in the Concord beta. The characters, known as Freegunners, vary in their actions. We don’t know all of their skills yet, but we know more about the expanding roster with the newest details. Below are all of the known current Freegunners coming to Concord in the beta and full game:
- Haymar
- Vale
- Lennox
- 1-Off
- Star Child
- It-Z
- Teo
- Bazz
Players will be able to see all of the Freegunners, though, when Concord’s first beta weekend begins.

All Maps Coming in the Concord Beta
There are five maps that players can fight across in the Concord beta. Four of the maps are available during the early access weekend, with the fifth being added in the open beta. Each offers diverse biomes, ranging from platforms high in the sky to water-covered planets. The maps in the Concord beta are just a taste of what players can expect. Below are all of the maps in the beta:
- Freewater: Players are transported to an isolated outpost on the torched planet called Glance. Aside from an open center courtyard, players can fight along lanes on the map’s edges.
- Water Hazard: This map sees players fighting on a fishing rig on the planet Leviathan. Aside from the platform, one section of the map features the Morack, a captured eel that players can fight in. Adding an odd bonus to the map.
- Star Chamber: Taking place on the planet called Gloom, players fight at the Star Chamber. It is an observatory on top of the highest mountain and features various lanes for smaller groups to fight over. However, at the center of the map is a massive meteorite where teams can duke it out together.
- Shock Risk: In the second map on Leviathan, players fight each other on a tall structure that harvests lightning. There are several medium-sized rooms to fight in and lanes for those wanting to take down enemies from a distance.
- Bone Mines (Available in the open beta): This is the site of a mining operation on the planet of Akkar. Although the planet seems like a tropical paradise, the battles that occur on this map are far from a vacation. Bone Mines provides both tight encounters and medium-range lanes to fight down.
All Modes Available in the Concord Beta
The Concord beta features four modes. Three are available for early access, and the fourth launches in the open beta. Unfortunately, there are no Team Deathmatch style modes. However, each mode offered in Concord provides a more engaging approach to gameplay. Below are the following modes available in the Concord beta:
- Trophy Hunt: Players must kill enemy team members and take their bounty cards. Whichever team reaches the point threshold first wins.
- Cargo Run: Teams must collect an objective called the Blue Buddy robotic package delivery system. Once they retrieve it, they must plant it at a labeled location and defend it to win the round.
- Clash Point: Both teams fight to control the one capture zone on the map. The twist in this mode is that there are no respawns, meaning players have to make their actions count.
- Area Control (Available in the open beta): Players must capture various capture zones across the map. Holding these locations increases the score, and the winner is the first team to reach the points limit. The mode allows respawns, meaning players can keep coming back to make efforts to control the zones.

Concord Beta Features the Story’s Prologue
The Concord beta features the first cinematics for the game’s narrative. Additionally, the open beta will unveil more of the beginning of the story to players. This will give players a showcase of how the story for Concord will progress throughout the game’s lifespan.
