The 2024 Sydney Nintendo Live is coming into town and is bringing the much-loved Mario voice actor Charles Martinet along for the ride.
Nintendo Live returns once more, this time in Sydney. Players of all ages will get to experience the magic of Nintendo in this special in-person event, which will feature photo ops, tournaments, a My Nintendo Store, and much more for everyone to enjoy. Of course, we can’t forget the beloved special guest, Charles Martinet.
When Is Nintendo Live 2024 Sydney?
The 2024 Nintendo Live will be held at the International Convention Centre Sydney, also known as the ICC Sydney, from Saturday, August 31, 2024, to Sunday, September 1, 2024, from 10 am to 6 pm AEST in Halls 3 and 4. Players of all ages will get to experience Nintendo Switch gameplay, photo ops with characters such as Mario and Luigi, a pop-up My Nintendo Store, and family-friendly activities. Live stage events will also be included, featuring daily special guest appearances from Charles Martinet.

However, that’s not all players can get excited about. Nintendo Live 2024 Sydney will be hosting the finals for the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: AU/NZ Championship 2024, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: AU/NZ Championship 2024, and Splatoon 3: AU/NZ Championship 2024. The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: AU/NZ Championship 2024 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: AU/NZ Championship 2024 finals will both be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, and the Splatoon 3: AU/NZ Championship 2024 final held on Sunday, September 1, 2024.
The online qualifiers for these three upcoming tournaments will start on Sunday, June 9, 2024. Top competitors will also secure tickets to the Sydney Nintendo Live 2024. How To Register For Nintendo Live 2024 Sydney
Those interested in experiencing the Nintendo Live 2024 Sydney event must register before the event for their chance to attend. Registration will open at 9 am AEST, Monday, June 17, 2024, and end at 11:59 pm AEST, Sunday, June 30, 2024. Below is how to register for the Nintendo Live 2024 Sydney event.
- Visit the Nintendo Live website.
- Register for an opportunity to be randomly selected to receive free tickets.
- Eligible Nintendo Account holders who are at least 18 years old can register for the drawing. Sign up for an account here if you don’t already have one.
- For groups of two or more, each attendee with their own Nintendo Account must be linked to the same free Nintendo Account Family Group. This ensures that all parties in the same group can attend together and on the same day.
- If selected, attendance will be for one event day.
