After over a decade, Bleach is finally returning to the gaming world and could possibly be coming to the Nintendo Switch.
The Bleach games have captured the attention of many players worldwide, from diehard fans to even those new to the anime. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been a new Bleach game in quite some time outside of mobile titles. So, it’s no surprise that fans have been clamoring for a console experience for a while. Luckily, it looks like the Nintendo Switch will be receiving the next upcoming Bleach game.
What New Bleach Game Is Coming To Nintendo Switch?
Known leaker Midori leaked on X (formerly Twitter) that a Bleach game will be released on Nintendo Switch and is currently being made by KLaBGames. Unfortunately, this has caused users to dwindle their expectations of the upcoming game. KLaBGames’ involvement suggests the upcoming Bleach game may be a port of its mobile games. If the upcoming game does end up being a port, it is likely it will be KLaBGames’ most recent Bleach title, Bleach: Brave Souls.
However, in KLaBGames’ Q1 2024 financial report, it was officially announced that they gained permission from the BLEACH Production Committee to create a hybrid-casual game. This could potentially be referring to this upcoming Nintendo Switch game or simply another upcoming Bleach game, likely for mobile. Regardless, it is official that a Bleach game will be surfacing again for players to enjoy.
Although Nintendo Switch is likely to receive this new Bleach game, there is currently no information on whether the upcoming game will be coming to Xbox, PlayStation, or PC. It is possible that the new Bleach game will come to other consoles and PC in the future. However, it will likely be after its initial Nintendo Switch release from KLaB Games.
