XDefiant Season 1 is getting a lot of new content, including a new mode, faction, several maps, weapons, and more. Here is everything coming in Season 1.
XDefiant is doing extremely well, bringing in a lot of new players and even surpassing Call of Duty. Of course, the upcoming Season 1 update will help to boost its player base even more. It’s set to add a new faction, maps, and so much more, which we’ve detailed below. The Season 1 update will be released on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
All Maps, Factions, Modes, and More Coming to XDefiant in Season 1
A brand new game mode, faction, three new maps, three new weapons, and several weapon mastery skins are being added to XDefiant in Season 1. This was initially outlined during the Ubisoft Forward 2024 event, which released a Season 1 trailer that you can watch below. Here is everything that has been confirmed for XDefiant Season 1:
- New game mode
- Capture the Flag
- New faction
- GSK (Inspired by Rainbow 6 Siege)
- New maps
- Clubhouse
- Daytona
- Rockefeller
- New weapons
- LVOA-C (Assault Rifle)
- L115 (Sniper Rifle)
- Sawed-Off Shotgun (Shotgun)
- Ranked Play and Ranked Progression
- New weapon mastery skins
- New store items and bundles
It’s worth noting that the three new maps won’t be added simultaneously. Rather, a new map is being added each month, with the first one coming on July 2. However, we don’t currently know which of the three will be launched first. Additionally, it looks like a Team Deathmatch mode will be added soon, potentially even before Season 1’s launch. There will be a full presentation on Season 1 called “XDebrief” which is happening on July 1. Players can watch that to get a full rundown on what they can expect.
