All Helldivers 2 Viper Commandos Premium Warbond Details
Helldivers 2 Viper Commandos Premium Warbond Premium Release Date & Price
The Helldivers 2 Viper Commandos Premium Warbond is now available for all players to purchase. Players who haven’t completed the Polar Patriots Premium Warbond can still continue to do so. All Warbonds in Helldivers 2 do not have an end date and can be progressed at any time and in any order.
The Viper Commandos Premium Warbond is available to buy for 1,000 Super Credits. The currency can be purchased for US$9.99 / £7.99 from your platform of choice’s digital storefront. This is the standard amount needed for each Warbond in the game and is, therefore, likely to stay at the same price. Additionally, players wanting to pick up the Warbond without buying the currency can earn it in-game. Super Credits are obtainable through the Minor Points of Interest scattered around the map. They are identifiable by the point markers if they have not been searched. Furthermore, to ensure you find many of these points, be on the lookout for a Radar Tower to reveal all POIs on your mission map.

All New Armor Sets
Players can earn two armor sets from the Viper Commandos Premium Warbond in Helldivers 2. However, to gain access to these, players need to purchase the Premium Warbond and begin earning rewards. Like other Warbonds in the past, Medals need to be collected to progress through the Warbond. Players can earn Medals by completing major and personal orders. Additionally, they can be found randomly at Minor Points of Interest. Below, you can find the new armor sets to look forward to:
- PH-9 Predator: Donning a flashy beret and sleeveless armor, the PH-9 Predator set is perfect for players looking to bask in jungle warfare. Rumor has it the armor is inspired by a Helldiver vet who held off entire Terminid swarms with a small arsenal.
- PH-202 Twigsnapper: More heavy-armor-inclined players can dress in the PH-202 Twigsnapper. While good for protection, it also shows the Terminids and Automatons alike that Helldivers can be a weapon even without guns.
Both of these armor sets come with the Peak Physique passive ability, which improves both melee damage and weapon handling.

All New Weapons
The Viper Commandos Premium Warbond offers two new weapons and a throwable this time around. The weapons specialize in both medium-range and close-range encounters. Below are the following weapons that players can earn in the Viper Commandos Premium Warbond:
- AR-23A Liberator Carbine: A new version of the Liberator Assault Rifle in Helldivers 2. The Liberator Carbine features more recoil but also faster handling, which helps significantly in close encounters.
- SG-22 Bushwhacker: The Bushwhacker is a secondary, triple-barrel shotgun. Players can deal massive damage up close with it. Additionally, because it is a secondary, you can keep it for close-range fights and still have your other weapon as a primary.
- K-2 Throwing Knife: The K-2 Throwing Knife is a brand-new throwable. Tossing this deadly blade at an enemy shows you mean business and that sometimes bringing your trusty knife along can be the difference in a fight with the enemy.

All New Patterns
Three new Patterns are available with the Viper Commandos Premium Warbond in Helldivers 2. Patterns are a new part of the Premium Warbond and allow for the customization of various pieces of equipment in the game. Below, players can acquire the following patterns in the Viper Commandos Premium Warbond:
- Undergrowth Exosuit
- Undergrowth Pelican
- Undergrowth Hellpod
The combination of woodland and tiger stripe camouflage inspires each of the patterns in this Warbond.
Is the Viper Commandos Premium Warbond Worth It?
It seems the Viper Commandos Premium Warbond is hit-and-miss with some of its items. In the past, many of the weapons have been nerfed shortly after release in the Premium Warbond. However, the Helldivers 2 team has stated that they are looking to ease up on weapon balancing, so only time will tell. Additionally, including a new booster and armor sets is always a welcome change. This is especially true when you consider the two sets being offered have new passive abilities.
