Players lining up in XDefiant

XDefiant: What Is the Max Level?

Players can hit a max level cap in XDefiant, but they’ll need to grind quite a bit before they reach it. Here’s what you need to know.

Much like Call of Duty, XDefiant has a max level. Of course, getting to that point will require a little bit of effort. However, knowing in advance how much you’ve got left to do can be quite motivating. So, we’ve explained not only what the max level is in XDefiant but also when Ubisoft will introduce a Prestige system.

What Is the Max Level in XDefiant?

Currently, the maximum level in XDefiant is 50. Once you hit that level, you cannot progress any further. However, you will still be able to unlock Faction characters, progress through the Battle Pass, and level up your guns. However, a Prestige system, which would see players level up beyond the maximum level, is being implemented, although won’t be available during Season 0.

As confirmed by executive producer Mark Rubin via X, they are looking at introducing a “classic prestige system” similar to the Call of Duty games. However, as CoD is an annual release, XDefiant will have to change things up. So far, there has been no confirmation of how the Prestige system would be different, but Rubin stated that they are “looking at possibly yearly prestiges.”

We expect that the Prestige system will be introduced in Season 1, which is expected to launch on July 1. This is when the Preseason will end. However, until it is officially announced, we won’t know for sure. That’s everything you need to know about the max level in XDefiant.
