Blackpink PUBG Collab

The World-Renowned Girl Group, Blackpink, is Coming to PUBG

The world-renowned girl group, Blackpink, is teaming up with Player Unkown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) to provide an in-game event for players.

For those of you who don’t know who Blackpink is, you must have been living under a rock for the last few years. Blackpink is a South Korean girl group, consisting of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. They were the first female K-pop band invited to perform at Coachella in 2019, and their first full album, “The Album”, have been accredited numerous awards.

This isn’t the first time PUBG has added celebrities into the game. Recently, Korean Footballer, Son Heung-min collaborated with the battle royale.

Blackpink Event Details

The Blackpink collaboration event will take place from August 18 through to September 7. During this period, players will be able to participate in special in-game event missions to earn points to require exclusive Blackpink items. However, only players who own PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS as of Aug. 4, 2021, are eligible to win.

If players aren’t able to complete the event missions, there will still be Blackpink-themed purchasable cosmetic items. There will be 35 different items available to buy in-game. Each member of the group has their own cosmetic bundle that contains themed hair, an outfit, a nameplate, helmet, weapon and emote.

There will also be altered in-game map elements. This includes building decals, plane banners, and thematic changes to supply crates and LV.3 helmets. All of these changes will be available from August 4 to September 7 on PC and August 12 to September 15 on consoles.

For all the latest information, you can follow PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS on social media. Alternatively, you can pick up the game now to start taking part in the event. PUBG is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, iOS, Android, Stadia, and PC via Steam.
