The Massive Metroidvania, Cathedral, is Out Now On PlayStation 4

Developer Decemberborn Interactive and publisher Elden Pixels have brought their massive Metroidvania Cathedral to PS4.

Making its initial release in 2019, Cathedral is a modernized love letter to 8-bit Metroidvania nostalgia. Now, PlayStation 4 owners can join in on this backtracking adventure already available via Steam and Nintendo Switch. Eric Lavesson, the founder of development studio Decemberborn Interactive, spoke about the studio’s excitement at having Cathedral finally available on the PlayStation 4.

“Finally, we can announce that Cathedral is now available on the PlayStation 4! […] It feels like it’s been too long of a wait! Here at Decemberborn, we were all so eager to spread the news, as we wanted others to experience this incredible adventure. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Elden Pixels for helping us publish Cathedral and all the players who have continued to support us on this journey.”
