Super Mario Bros. Wonder offers players hours of fun, but for those who like to try before they buy, is there a demo?
It’s natural for fans skeptical of the new $70 price tag to want demos for upcoming releases. Fortunately, these days, a lot of games do come with free demos where you can try the game out. So, it only makes sense that players are wanting a demo for the latest Nintendo title, Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Below, we explain whether the game has a demo and how to get it.
Is There a Super Mario Bros. Demo?
Yes, there is a Super Mario Bros. Wonder demo. However, it is exclusive to Target, Best Buy, Game Stop, and Walmart stores in the US. To play the demo, you will need to head to your local store and check to see if it has a Nintendo Switch Kiosk (a stand with a playable Nintendo Switch.) If it does, then the Switch should come with a demo for Super Mario Bros. Wonder on it.
Unfortunately, there is not currently a demo for Super Mario Bros. Wonder publically available worldwide on the Nintendo Switch eShop. However, it is possible that one may be added at a later date. Some Mario games have received eShop demos, including Mario Strikers: Battle League and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. Additionally, other Nintendo first-party titles, such as Yoshi’s Crafted World and Kirby’s Return to Dream Land have also received demos.
