Stunning Open-World RPG, Flintlock: The Siege Of Dawn, Launching 2022

Developer A44 Games and publisher Kepler Interactive have announced the brand-new open-world adventure game Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn.

Having previously developed the critically acclaimed title Ashen, developer A44 are moving on to their next magnum opus. Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is a stunning new open-world title set in a rich fantasy world full of magic, gunpowder and the undead. It is being made in collaboration with veteran publisher and developer, Kepler Interactive. From its beautiful reveal trailer alone, it’s clear that this is an ambitious project akin to the likes of Greedfall.

What Is Flintlock: The Siege Of Dawn

While there aren’t a lot of details surrounding this upcoming open-world RPG, we do know a few things. Players will take on the role of Nor Vanek, a member of the coalition army, and will be accompanied by a mystical fox-like creature called Enki. It is up to you to fend off an army of the old god’s warriors after the door to the Afterlife is unexpectedly opened.

You’ll explore a beautiful open-world full of sprawling deserts, magnificent cities and perilous caverns. Furthermore, as you explore, you’ll take on enemies with the game’s “rewarding combat system” utilising axes, gunpowder, magic and more. Here is a quick breakdown of everything we know:

Release Date

While there has been no confirmed release date as of yet, the game is due to come out “later this year”. It will release for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
