Breathtakingly Haunting Platformer, Somber, Coming To Steam Next Year

Indie studio You Will Get There have announced that their hand-painted atmospheric action-platformer Somber is coming to Steam in Q1 of 2022.

Somber is the debut title of indie development studio You Will Get There. It is self-described as being Limbo with the game mechanics of Ori but developed by Tim Burton. Its rather exciting and lofty premise looks intriguingly fun in its teaser trailer, and it is all brought together by the game’s stunning hand-painted aesthetic. Lead developer. David Söderström, spoke about how they are excited to bring Somber to the public.

“When we first started working on Somber, our goal was to create a lush, living world filled with amazing little details and interesting gameplay […] As you’d expect, we’re knee-deep in development right now and enjoying every second of it. We can’t wait to show the world the dread-filled beauty of Somber in 2022!”
