No Man’s Sky’s Huge New Origins Update – All The Details

No Man's Sky
No Man's Sky Origins Launch Trailer

In 2016, No Man’s Sky was released to extremely poor reception. The game was meant to be a huge step forward for gaming but was unfortunately released with broken promises. Since then the developers of No Man’s Sky, Hello Games, have completely transformed the game with countless free updates.

In this year alone, No Man’s Sky received a horror-themed update, mech suits and cross-platform multiplayer. And today, it released its most ambitious update of the year, Origins.

Introduction to Origins

Origins is aiming to double the amount of planet variety in the game. A huge range of brand new planetary flora and aliens have been poured into the galaxy. There is a larger variety of colours in the game and sequentially, there is new terrain. Colossal mountains, deep oceans and volcanoes are just some of the new biomes.

The Origins update is available right now for free for those who already own the game. And for those who don’t own the game, it is on sale on all platforms to celebrate the update.

No Man’s Sky is available on PlayStation 4 with PSVR support, Xbox One and PC with VR support. This list might expand as we grow closer to the next-gen consoles.
