Magical School Sim, Kitori Academy, Needs Your Support On Kickstarter

Developer Cubenary has launched a Kickstarter campaign for their upcoming magical school sim, Kitori Academy, alongside a brand-new trailer.

Originally called Witchery Academy, Kitori Academy is an upcoming magical school sim. It is centred around attending classes, petting cats, tending to gardens and a whole host of other magic-related activities. While the game has been in production for some time, duo-development team Cubenary has decided to launch a Kickstarter campaign to help fund new features. They have also released a brand new trailer to give prospective supporters an idea of what Kitori Academy is all about.

What Is Kitori Academy?

Kitori Academy is a life sim that seeks to blend gameplay akin to the likes of Stardew Valley with a compelling and enticing magical world. You’ll make friends, cultivate a beautiful garden, complete story-based quests, attend lessons, fish, cook, craft and even play with your own spirit companion.

The game is already full of brilliant ideas, but the Kickstarter campaign, among other things, is hoping to fund new music, additional localisation languages, and refine the gameplay. If you want to know more about Kitori Academy, you can check our original article about it here. Otherwise, here is some of what you can expect when it launches:

  • Live the magical school life and attend classes to hone your skills
  • Make friends with your fellow classmates
  • Play, cuddle and stroke your spirit cat companion
  • Personalise your look
  • Catch bugs, cook lavish meals, relax with a spot of fishing and brew potions
