To Be Or Not To Be launched on iOS, Android and PC back in 2015 to great success. On Steam, of the 176 reviews, 92% are positive and on the Google Play Store, it has 4.5 stars across 219 users. The game was developed by Tin Man Games in collaboration with the writer of both the Adventure Time and Unbeatable Squirrel Girl comic books, Ryan North. After nearly seven years on other platforms, the game is now finally out on the Nintendo Switch.

What Is To Be Or Not To Be?
Well, that is the question (sorry couldn’t help myself). To Be Or Not To Be is a hilarious “chooseable-path adventure game” based on the Shakesperean classic Hamlet. You choose between three iconic characters, Hamlet, Ophelia or Hamlet Sr. (you get ghost powers), and ostensibly play through the original play. However, should you wish to go off script you absolutely can. Enter stage left fighting pirates, travelling through time and shooting baddies out of a canon. Just how Shakespeare envisioned it. The game also features art from some fantastic artists including, but not limited to:
- Kate Beaton (Hark! A Vagrant)
- Anthony Clark (Nedroid)
- Mike Krahulik (Penny Arcade)
- Matthew Inman (The Oatmeal)
- Ethan Nicolle (Axe Cop)
- Andrew Hussie (MS Paint Adventures)
- Zach Weiner (Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal)
